Friday Sketchers #73

I finally got a chance to play again in the Friday Sketchers challenge! They always have great challenges and fantastic give aways! This week they have a card sketch and the prize is a $25 gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp!
I made my card using my new Riley moose stamp from Hanna Stamps! Isn't he absolutely adorable. I used baja breeze cs, dp from walmart (my mom bought it for me), felt flurries for the snowflake and liquid applique for the snow around Riley!
Thanks for taking the time to look and don't forget to check out our Stampalicious Mondays as there is always something new and exciting happening! This week there is a $10 gift certificate up for grabs! See you there!

Friday Sketchers Week 64

I found this sketch on Friday Sketchers while cruising around the internet! I just bought this paper and had to use it! Although you can't really see it in the photo the flower design on the paper is velvet! I added some crochet ribbon and some hodgepodge hardware for the sentiment and the image is by Hanna Stamps! Thanks for taking the time to look!

Hanna Stamps Guest Design Team Challenge - Week 3

Alright, today is the last day of the Hanna Stamps Guest designer challenge! This week we needed to make a 3D project so I opted for this cute little flower gift bag. I added all of the goodies I needed to have a relaxing bath just like Sophie! I colored Sophie with copics, made bubbles with liquid applique and the flower gift bag I made using my cricut expressions.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the Hanna Stamps guest designer challenge as much as I have! Good luck to all of the ladies as I know they are going to have an extremely hard time picking the winners! No matter what we are all winners just to have had the opportunity to work with an amazing stamp company! Ok, I am off to drink some wine.....er, I mean relax in the tub!

Hanna Stamps Guest Design Team Challenge - Week 1

Alright, here she is, the moose we have all been waiting to see! Presenting.......Bubble Bath Sophie! Isn't she absolutely fabulous! This is the stamp that everyone who made it to the second round of the Hanna Stamps Guest Designer challenge received. I haven't been playing too much but it is all for the greater good! I spent the last week fininshing the sanding on my brand new craft room so I will be priming and painting soon Woooooooooooohooooooooooo! I am having tons of problems with my ISP so I am not able to get on splitcoast right now but I will keep trying so that I can link this card.

Anyways, I used fabric for the polkadot background that I bought at Wal-Mart, the flowers and buttons I got from my local scrapbook store, and the sentiment is computer generated. I made the floor by cutting 1/2 inch strips of creamy caramel and sponging them with close to cocoa. I made the floor trim with a 3/4 inch strip of rose red and then embossed it using my cuttlebug. Most important of all I colored Sophie with my copics, used my liquid applique for the buble bath and put liquid glass on all of the other bubbles and bits of water.

I hope you will take the time to scoot on over to splitcoast stampers and check out the Hanna forum and all of the other wonderful cards that are being made with Bubble Bath Sophie! Thanks for stopping by!

This way to the Pool!

Every month Hanna Stamps gives away some goodies for participating in their monthly challenges. This was their July challenge #2 and the prize is a Perfect Package Hanna! This is an awesome sketch to play with so give it a try!

I used pacific point, real red and ww cs. The image is from Hanna stamps and I colored it with copics, I then used my liquid glass to make the pool water shiny. I used nestabilities for the circle and scalloped circle, I embossed the background with my cuttlebug and the swimsuit brad I bought at the dollar store awhile ago. Thanks for stopping by!

WoooooooHooooooo! Both of my youngest boys went down for a nap at the same time today which meant craft time for mom! I was able to sit down and make my card for the Hanna Stamps July release challenge #1! Check it out and give it a try! They are giving away a free mermaid Hanna set how awesome is that!

Anyways, I made a shaker card using the "this way to the beach" Hanna set! I used my copics for coloring, pacific point cs, real red cs, yo yo yellow cs and whisper white cs. And yes, that is real sand stolen from my childrens sandbox while they slept (shhhh, don't tell them!). I embellished with a few brads and voila, here is my card! Thanks for stopping by!

Anyways, this is my third card for the challenge. I finally got to take a break from mudding and taping my new craft room so I was able to get another card done. I used copics for coloring, the arrows are made of chipboard that I got from CTMH, the sentiment is computer generated and the background was cuttlebugged using the spots and dots folder. Thanks for taking the time to check my card out!
