Kraftin Kimmie Clean and Simple

So one of my FAVE companies is having a Clean and Simple challenge!  I LOVE these challenges because it forces me not to over think my creations.

Since I have been working very hard lately to clear up my schedule to afford more crafting time, I figured I would treat myself to a challenge.  I have bought a LOT of stamps that have yet to see ink because my schedule was soooooooo busy!  I am sure you can all relate.

For my card I used this KK girl named LANA and I added some red to Jazz things up!  Love these sassy girls that Kraftin' Kimmie makes as they are so much fun to color with my Copics.  

Of course I love playing with glitter and this girl was just SCREAMING to be glittered!

KK-Princess Petunia

So now that I have FINALLY gotten my craft room organized, finished some homework and decided to leave the house a mess, I had some time to make a card!!!!  Shocking I know (giggle)!

I used this beautiful little princess from Kraftin' Kimmie called Princess Petunia.  I colored this image quite some time ago with my Copics so I am not sure what colors I used.  

I used whisper white cs, pixie pink cs, Stampin Up's new edge die and co-ordinating paper piercer and edge embosser.  I popped everything up on dimensionals and didn't want to over crowd the image so I didn't bother to add any embellishments.

For my creations today I decided to use our new Friends Wine stamp set by the fabulous artist Jodie Mackrell of Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

I colored my image with copics, used some dp from my lss, added that cute little rose from su and used cherry cobbler and whisper white cardstock.

Next I used one of our new digi stamps.  How many of you have just run out of time and you needed a card lickity split?  I see you nodding your head in agreement.  

The awesome thing about our digis is they come with the colored image (applause) so when your in a rush you can print, cut, paste and embellish.

I also love using the colored image as a guideline when I am manually coloring my own image.  It shows me where the artist added shading and gives me a good idea of what colors will look good.

I made this little cutie in under 10 minutes.  Yup.....I timed myself!  I printed the colored image, added a layer of riding hood red cs, slapped on a snowflake, used some stickles and stamped a sentiment.  VOILA.....DONE!!!

BLOG HOP WITH RIBBON CAROUSEL!

For my first project I used Johnny Skateboard and paired him with some orange net ribbon and black and orange twine.  The dp came from a wonderful pack of paper I bought quite a few years back.  I used basic black, tangerine tango and whisper white cs and colored my image with copics.

For my next project I used the cute little Balloon Kidz Girl and paired her with some purple crushed ribbon.  I used whisper white cs and a purple cs I picked up at the dollar store.  My image is colored with copics and that awesome bow was made using my bow easy.

For my creations I used our new Gus Baseball stamp set!  Who doesn't love this old fart?  This guy comes with some great sentiments that are sure to get a giggle!

I used copics to color my image, my cricut to cut out the grass and clouds, basic black and whisper white cardstock.

For my second card I used this adorable little Cheerleader Brat!  I colored my image with copics, used whisper white and black cs and added a bit of pink ribbon.

For my little creation I decided to use this ADORABLE little bear which you can find HERE .  I colored my image with Copics.  I used very vanilla, dashing dp, old olive and real red card stock.  I cut out the snowflake border with my frostyville border from memory box inc.  The chipboard ornament that the bear sits on was purchased from CTMH a few years back.

You are gonna have to mind the photography as my camera battery charger is missing in action so I had to use my phone for my pics today!

I used Melon mambo cs, ww cs, dp from SU, nesties to cut out ovals, SU oval and scallop oval punch, SU scallop edge punch, colored my image with Copics and that AWESOME crocheted flower was made by my mom!

For my second sample I used our new Sean Dog stamp set!  I have 3 little boys so this stamp set is gonna get used a lot!

I colored my image with copics, dp and cork from my lss, nesties to cut out shapes and punches from SU for my sentiment.

For my first card I used our newest A+ Bears!  These guys are soooooooo stinkin' cute and they will be great to make cards for the end of the school year!

Right now I am in University full time and it has been a challenge juggling family life and school life however; I had one of the teachers at my local school volunteer to tutor me in one of my subjects.  I made this card to give him as a thank you and will be adding a gift certificate to one of his favorite fast food joints.

I used Copics to color, real red cs, basic black cs, whisper white cs and certainly celery cs.  The apple was cut using my Cricut and an SVG file.

For my next project I used my favorite man in the whole world....Gus!  How hilarious is this set?  It couldn't have worked out better because I needed a birthday card for my father in law as we will be celebrating his birthday tonight.  He is gonna get a kick outta this!

I colored my image with Copics, used real red, pacific point, wild wasabi, only orange, basic black and whisper white cs.  The surf board and crab were cut out using my Cricut and an SVG file.

For my first project I used this SCENT-SATIONAL skunk!  The DP and flowers come from CTMH, bling is from the dollar store, image is colored using my copics and that awesome little bow tie was made using my new Bow Easy that I got from my good buddy Joycelyn (StampsN'Coffee).

For my next project I had to use HUNTER GUS!!!!  He is too hilarious!  The saying is play off of a song by Sir Mix-A-Lot!  It was a very popular song when I was younger.  The DP and cork came from my LSS, I colored Gus with copics, used nesties to cut out the image and my SU punches to cut out the sentiment.

For my third and final project I used this cute little KITCHEN CHICKEN!!!  How adorable are these little guys?  I used DP from SU, colored my image with copics and the twine is from the Twinery.

MARCH RELEASE AND BLOG HOP!!!

Welcome to our March release and blog hop!

I have chosen to use our new Moovelous stamp set and I have created a 3D card.

Who doesn't LOVE making a farm scene!  I used a file from SvgCuts and my Cricut to cut out the barn, silo, fence and clouds.  The grass is done with one of my Martha Stewart border punches and I colored my cute little MOOVELOUS cow with my Copics.  I created the hay bales by printing a random image I found on the internet to a piece of cardstock and then cut them out.  Cardstock is very vanilla, whisper white, riding hood red, close to cocoa, and pear pizzaz.
